Media Advisory - Vancouver 2010 Sea to Sky Volunteer Centre Announcement



    SQUAMISH, BC, Aug. 29 /CNW/ - The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the
2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) will officially open the Sea
to Sky Volunteer Centre in Squamish on Monday, September 1.
    To celebrate the official opening, VANOC will hold a parking lot party
featuring sport demonstrations, a special appearance by the Vancouver 2010
mascots, souvenir 2010 mascot stickers, live music, food and giveaways.
Entertainment will include music from Squamish's Jocelyn Band, Whistler's
Hairfarmers and Pemberton's Gordo.

    
    When:    Monday, September 1, 2008 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
