On October 20th, Craig Kielburger kicks off nationwide campaign
at Jacob store in downtown Montreal
MONTREAL, Oct. 19 /CNW Telbec/ - Jacob Owner and Head of Corporate Social
Responsibility, Odette Basmaji, and Free The Children Co-Founder, Craig
Kielburger, invite you to join them on October 20th for the launch of Jacob's
fundraising campaign, which aims to raise $100,000 for Free The Children, the
world's largest network of children helping children through education. This
special in-store event will be held at Jacob's Les Ailes de la Mode store
where customers and employees will demonstrate that "helping others never goes
out of style".
This special event coincides with the official launch of a major
fundraising campaign in 170 Jacob and Jacob Connexion stores across the
country, where 100% of the profits from the sale of limited edition Me to We
(Responsible Style) t-shirts will go to support Free The Children's youth
empowerment and leadership programs in Canada. The first 100 customers to
purchase these t-shirts will receive a complementary copy of Craig and Marc
Kielburger's New York Times best-selling book Me to We: Finding Meaning in a
