Media Advisory - Union delegation from Vale/Inco strike available for virtual live scrum from Brazil



    RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 19 /CNW/ - United Steelworkers representing the
striking Canadian workers at Vale Inco will be holding a live international
phone-line scrum from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
    For the last two weeks, the delegation has traveled throughout much of
Brazil building alliances, and global plans to support Canadian striking
workers taking on the Brazilian multinational Vale SA. They have met with
thousands of workers, hundreds of locals and dozens of separate unions. The
USW has also signed a partnership with CUT (Brazil's largest trade union
organization) over this issue.
