Media Advisory - UNICEF Canada Launches its 2007 Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Campaign



    Hundreds of Toronto school children gather to celebrate

    TORONTO, Oct. 1 /CNW/ -

    
    What:     On Tuesday, October 2, 2007, more than 100 Toronto school
              children will gather together to help UNICEF Canada kick-off
              its Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign. UNICEF Canada Youth
              Ambassadors, Neil Agrawal, 9, and Bilaal Rajan, 11, along with
              Alan Ely, UNICEF Canada Chairperson, will rally the staff and
              students of the Institute of Child Study in celebration of the
              annual fundraising and education campaign.

    Photo Opportunity:
              Photo opportunities include UNICEF Canada Ambassadors handing
              out the new Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF candy collection bags to
              students, children singing and group photos of spokespeople
              with children and school staff. There will also be a photo and
              interview opportunity of UNICEF Canada ambassadors and UNICEF
              Canada Chairperson speaking passionately about how children can
              make a difference to children in developing countries. The
              principal will also discuss their school's plans for
              participation in the programme.
