TORONTO, Oct. 6 /CNW/ - Spark Internet Marketing, a full service Internet
advertising, search engine optimization, analytics, email marketing and
website design company; today announced their plan to 'spark' interest in the
Canadian Federal elections with a series of downloadable digital lawn signs.
Based on the premise that many Canadians support a particular party, but may
live in condos or apartments without lawn space, the digital lawn signs allow
voters to show off their candidate in cyberspace with the look of a real
election lawn sign.
Through Sparks' series of downloadable, digital lawn signs voters can
choose their party's lawn sign, download it from the Spark Internet Marketing
website at www.sparkinternetmarketing.com and post a button to their business
or personal website. Voters can also attach a digital lawn sign to their
outgoing email signature.
Undecided voters can download a 'Make Your Mark, October 14th' digital
lawn sign to encourage friends, coworkers and anyone they contact through
email to help elect Canada's next Prime Minister.
"Let's face it; there's been a serious lack of excitement about this
year's Canadian federal election," said Christopher Kata, Chief Technology
Officer of Spark Internet Marketing. "This is our way of building interest and
excitement online and letting voters show support for their parties. At the
very least, we all should all be motivated to make our mark on October 14th."
Voters who download any of the Digital Lawn Signs can also participate in
the "Spark Real Person Poll," A five question, non partisan poll that asks
real questions about the election and party support. Results of the poll will
be released to media on October 9th.
