    Surgeons in six acute care hospitals within the Toronto Central LHIN who
currently complete joint replacement surgery have agreed to a new standardized
process to refer patients for hip and knee replacements.
    The new process will reduce wait times, improve access to care and
quality of life for patients and ease administrative burdens for referring
doctors.
