Media Advisory - Students under 18 will cast ballots on Monday, May 11



    VANCOUVER, May 8 /CNW/ - On Monday, May 11, students under the voting age
will be participating in Student Vote BC, a province-wide parallel election
and referendum.
    Students will be taking on the roles of election officials and will be
coordinating their vote using official Elections BC ballot boxes and voting
screens. Students will be casting two ballots: one for a local candidate and
one for the referendum.
    70,000 ballots are expected to be cast from nearly every electoral
district. The results will be tabulated by district and shared with media on
May 12.
