Media Advisory - Students' Federation Chairperson to Comment on FNTI Announcement



    TORONTO, March 31 /CNW/ - The chairperson of the Canadian Federation of
Students-Ontario will be available to comment on the announcement about the
First Nations Technical Institute (FNTI) that the Honourable John Milloy,
Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities, and the Honourable Michael
Bryant, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs are expected to make on Tuesday
morning.
    The Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario has been calling on the
Government of Ontario and the Government of Canada to provide long-term
funding for the FNTI that is equal to the per-student funding for other
post-secondary institutions in the province.
