Media Advisory - sorry2interrupt - Global Warming: Canadians are steaming about Canada's inaction!

    TORONTO, April 18 /CNW/ -

What: Canadians are speaking up about Global Warming and saying what
they want Canada to do. It's part of Earth Day Canada's
sorry2interrupt campaign and it's spreading quickly across the
country, capturing the frustration and passion of average
Canadians, who are doing their part to mitigate Global Warming,
while others sit on their hands. sorry2interrupt invites
Canadians to use camera phones or digital cameras to let the
world know what they want Canada to do about Global Warming.

What's Going on: Earth Day Canada and Ondah will be "Interrupting the
status quo" at 2 Queen Street East by inviting average Canadians to
answer the pivotal environmental question of the day. See Canadians
speaking up on what our nation should do about Global Warming. We would
like to "interrupt" the media by having reporters have their say, live on
    air.

Why: Canadians know that we are now faced with humankind's biggest
challenge: Global Warming. They know it's a lot worse than
anyone thought and it's picking up steam. And they know that
despite the urgency of the situation, Canada is moving far too
              slowly.

Canadians want action. They want to be part of the plan to save
our planet. They want to send out the message that we've heard
enough talk. It's time for our country to do something real
about Global Warming. Less talk, more action!

    When: Wednesday April 18, 2007 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Where: 2 Queen Street East, main foyer

Who: Jed Goldberg, President of Earth Day Canada
John Henriques, President, Ondah (the company behind the
              campaign's technology)
