MONTREAL, June 5 /CNW Telbec/ - The Canadian Forces Snowbirds, Canada's
famous air demonstration team, are arriving in St-Hubert on 5 June 2008 for a
short stay in the Province of Québec which will include performances at the
Montreal Grand-Prix and Québec International Air show.
Media wishing to speak briefly with Snowbird pilots and technicians are
requested to meet Captain Jennifer Jones on 5 June 2008 at 12 p.m. at hangar
10 on Leckie street at the St-Hubert garrison. Weather permitting, the team
will conduct one pass of the airport prior to landing.
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will also be present at the Québec
International Air Show from 13 June until June 15, 2008 for the 400th
Anniversary of the foundation of Québec.
During 2008 show season, the Snowbirds will perform in approximately
60 air shows in 40 different locations, representing the professionalism,
dedication and teamwork of the Canadian Forces.
The Quebec international air show has many exciting performances,
including the Canadian elite skydiving team the SkyHawks, U.S.A.'s Blue Angels
and Thunderbirds and United Kingdom's Red arrows.
