LONDON, ON, Sept. 22 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, September 24th, at 2 p.m,
Dr. Nadine Levick will present her findings on ambulance collisions and the
impact on the people inside to the Association of Municipal Emergency Medical
Services of Ontario and Ontario Base Hospital Group joint Conference at the
London Convention Centre.
Dr. Levick is an international leader in EMS Safety. She is an Emergency
Medicine physician with a Masters of Public Health from John Hopkins
University. She has also received the prestigious International Society of
Automotive Engineers Women's Leadership Award and International AMBEX Research
Award for Research Most Likely to Change Practice.
The annual AMEMSO/OBHG Conference is the forum for EMS leaders across the
province to meet on how to improve pre-hospital care for Ontario residents and
visitors. It is also an opportunity to honour paramedics for bravery and
dedicated service in their communities.
AMEMSO is the provincial organization of the leaders of municipal
Emergency Medical Services in Ontario and the Base Hospital Group represents
the physicians and their support staff entrusted to provide medical oversite
and quality assurance to municipal ambulance services.
