Mint to hold coin exchange at Copps Coliseum at
Hamilton Bulldogs last home game of the regular season
What: As 2009 marks the centennial year of the legendary Montreal
Canadiens hockey club, the Royal Canadian Mint has issued a new
commemorative one-dollar circulation coin featuring the iconic
"CH" of Canada's most decorated professional hockey team.
The Mint is proud to visit Copps Coliseum to give fans of the
Hamilton Bulldogs, American Hockey League affiliate of the
Montreal Canadiens, the opportunity to exchange a coin for this
new one-dollar coin celebrating the legendary team which has
become a universal symbol of Canada's hockey greatness. This is
a one-night-only opportunity for spectators of the Hamilton
Bulldogs' last home game of the regular 2008-2009 season to
collect a piece of Canadian hockey history.
