Media Advisory - Robert Munsch spins tales that inspire Toronto families to learn together



    TORONTO, Jan. 22 /CNW/ - Capture the joy as children and their parents
hear stories told by beloved children's author Robert Munsch at Willow Park
Junior Public School in Toronto. As the honourary chair of Family Literacy
Day, Munsch will tell a few of his bestselling stories as only Munsch can. He
will also encourage parents to engage in learning activities at home. This
event will mark the 10th year of Family Literacy Day(R), an annual initiative
created by ABC CANADA Literacy Foundation and founding sponsor Honda Canada
that encourages families to read and learn together. This storytelling event
is one of the highlights among thousands of events taking place across the
country as a lead up to Family Literacy Day, Sunday, January 27.

    About Robert Munsch: Robert Munsch, beloved children's writer and
Canada's best-selling author, has published over 50 children's books,
including The Paper Bag Princess, Thomas's Snowsuit and Love You Forever,
which has sold over 20 million copies in North America. His latest book is
Look At Me!, published by Scholastic Canada. He is the honourary chair of
Family Literacy Day.
