    LANGLEY, BC, Oct. 2 /CNW/ - Vancouver-based Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers,

back-to-back unreserved public auctions in the Lower Mainland this week. The
Company will conduct an unreserved truck and equipment auction at its Surrey
sale site on Thursday, October 4, 2007 (featuring more than 1,300 items for
the transportation, construction and other industries), followed by an offsite
auction in Langley on Friday, October 5. The Langley auction will be conducted
at the Used Equipment branch of Leavitt Machinery, which was recently
relocated from Abbotsford to Langley.
    Coquitlam-based Leavitt Machinery leases and sells new and used materials
handling and aerial equipment from 20 locations in British Columbia, Alberta
and Washington State. "We're excited about showcasing our new location in
Langley and demonstrating the full breadth of our product lineup to our
customers," said Bob McIntosh, equipment manager for Leavitt Machinery. "We've
got a great product mix in this auction; there's a little bit of everything
for the materials handling industry. We're selling equipment that is in demand
in the marketplace right now. Most of it is late model; some is unused. This
is equipment that people will be able to put to work straight away."
