will celebrate its 50th anniversary in the auction business and 10th
anniversary as a publicly traded company by ringing The Closing Bell(R) at the
New York Stock Exchange at 4:00 p.m. EST on Monday, January 14, 2008. Ritchie
Bros. CEO Peter Blake will ring the bell to close trading for the day. Ritchie
Bros., the world's largest industrial auctioneer, was established in Kelowna,
B.C. in 1958. The Company's common shares were first listed on the NYSE on
