    TORONTO, Feb. 29 /CNW Telbec/ - The Canadian Red Cross and the Ministry
of Health and Long-Term Care will announce a new program aimed at helping
children stay healthy through a better understanding of germs and how to
prevent their spread.
    Developed by the Canadian Red Cross in partnership with the Ministry of
Health and Long-Term Care, Bug Out! Get the Facts on Germs offers free
downloadable resources ideal for teachers and families.
    Join The Honourable George Smitherman, The Honourable Kathleen Wynne, and
Don Shropshire, national director of disaster management for the Canadian Red
Cross as they introduce the program to children in Ontario.

    
    Where:  Sprucecourt Junior Public School, 70 Spruce Street, Toronto
    When:   Monday, March 3, 2008
    When:   9:30 a.m.
    

    Students will participate in activities from Bug Out! Get the Facts on
Germs.
