Media Advisory - Record Expansion on the horizon for Manitoba's Construction Sector



    WINNIPEG, June 21 /CNW Telbec/ - How will Manitoba prepare for a 10-year
increase in construction activity as outlined in a new report to be released
this morning, June 21, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. by the Construction Sector Council
(CSC) and its partners?
    According to the CSC's third annual edition of "Construction Looking
Forward: Labour Requirements from 2007 to 2015 for Manitoba," construction
activity will continue to climb at a steady pace until 2015.

    
    When:  Thursday, June 21, 2007 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon

    Where: Floodway Announcement Site - Gravel Parking Area beside the CN
           Sprague Railway Bridge Site. (The parking lot is between two
           projects - the CN Sprague Railway site and the Ramp Structure)

           Directions from Downtown Winnipeg: Travel south on Osborne Street
           to Fermor Avenue and continue to Lagimodiere Boulevard. Turn right
           on Lagimodiere Boulevard and continue to the Perimeter Highway
           (#100). Proceed onto the Perimeter Highway North/East
           (#100 East) and continue to the turn off at the
           Floodway site just prior to the Trans-Canada Highway Overpass.
           Please look for the MD Steele Site Office and continue on the
           gravel road to the announcement site beside the CN Sprague Railway
           Bridge.
