Media Advisory - RCMP Hosting a Citizenship and Reaffirmation Ceremony for Citizenship Week



    TORONTO, Oct. 16 /CNW/ - Citizenship Week this year will be held from
October 15th to 19th, 2007. As part of the week's celebrations, the Royal
Canadian Mounted Police "O" Division Diversity Liaison Unit will be hosting a
Citizenship and Reaffirmation Ceremony in Etobicoke, Ontario. The ceremony
will be presided by Judge Ann Northcote from Citizenship and Immigration
Canada. During the ceremony 50 new citizens will be sworn in and approximately
25 persons (RCMP and community persons) will reaffirm their citizenship.

            Etobicoke, Ontario
