Media advisory - Press conference today: CAW and OLG negotiation update

BRANTFORD, ON, June 2 /CNW/ - Workers at three Ontario Lottery and Gaming
Corporation locations have gone on strike as of Sunday morning after OLG and
the CAW, the union representing the workers, failed to reach an agreement
before the contract expired.
Hemi Mitic, assistant to CAW national president, will be providing an
update on the strike and negotiations at a media conference at 2:30pm today.

    CAW Local 397 Union Hall
    Brantford District Labour Centre
1100 Clarence Street South Suite 202
    Brantford, Ontario

Picket lines were set up Sunday morning at Casino Brantford, the Slots at
Sudbury Downs and the Slots at Woodbine Racetrack. Key issues remain to be
resolved such as the drop in full-time employment compared to part-time, the
hiring process for full-time opportunities, wages and benefits.

The CAW represents close to 1,000 OLG employees and approximately
7,000 gaming workers across the country.
