Media Advisory - Powering Growth through Partnerships: Canada's Aerospace community gathers in Ottawa



    OTTAWA, Sept. 11 /CNW Telbec/ - The Aerospace Industries Association of
Canada will hold its 47th Annual General Meeting and Conference on September
16th and 17th 2008, in Ottawa.
    Over 300 industry leaders, representatives from the academic sector and
governments are expected to attend. On September 17th, renowned speakers will
address the participants on various issues, opportunities and challenges
facing the industry. Amongst them: Robert E. Brown, President and CEO, CAE Inc
and Chairman of the Expert Panel on Private Sector Innovation of the Canadian
Council of the Academies; Anne Golden, President and CEO, Conference Board of
Canada; William C. Greenwalt, U.S. Deputy Under-Secretary of Defense,
Industrial Policy; Robert J. Saia, Vice President, Next Generation Family
Products, Pratt & Whitney; Joy Bryant, Vice President, International Space
Station Program, Boeing Integrated Defense Systems and Michael Trusty,
