Kicks off celebration of 50 years of superior investment management
TORONTO, April 18 /CNW/ - The American Growth Fund (AGF) turns 50 today
and Chairman and CEO Blake C. Goldring along with other senior executives and
special guests will kick off the anniversary celebrations by opening the
markets at the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) this morning.
In 1957, co-founders C. Warren Goldring and Allan Manford launched the
American Growth Fund and set out to build a company focused on clients and
driven by superior investment management. Over the past 50 years, investors
have been able to choose from a variety of innovative AGF financial products
from a company that has launched market firsts.
Today, AGF remains a proudly independent Canadian-based company employing
over 800 people with subsidiaries around the world. AGF is also a strong
