Media Advisory - Photo-Op: Volunteers sorting Spring Drive food donations

Spring Drive is in desperate need of more donations

TORONTO, April 2 /CNW/ -

WHAT: Spring Drive Public Food Sort

Approximately 400 volunteers will be spending Saturday and
Monday of a long weekend sorting and packing food donations at
              Daily Bread Food Bank.

As of Friday April 1, Daily Bread is far behind its goals of
250,000 lbs of food and $250,000 with only 57,000 lbs of food
and approximately $68,000 donated. The Spring Drive ends next
Friday, April 9th so there is still time to donate and help us
              reach our goals.

Note: Daily Bread is fully booked for public sorting. No
                    volunteers are required.
