Media Advisory - Paramedics Look to Add Some Certainty to the Profession's Future



    CALGARY, Jan. 19 /CNW Telbec/ - Rick Fraser, President of Calgary
Paramedics Local 3421 and speaking on behalf of the largest number of
unionized Paramedics in the province (including Calgary & Edmonton), will hold
a Media Conference Wednesday morning to outline a provincial plan designed to
protect Emergency Medical Service levels for Albertans. CUPE Paramedics have a
vision for the future of EMS in the province but fear an encroaching
provincial deadline may hamper front line care.
