Media Advisory - Ottawa area community heroes to receive recognition



    TORONTO, June 9 /CNW/ - The Ottawa Ontario Volunteer Service Award
ceremonies will recognize Ottawa and surrounding area heroes: its volunteers.
    The ceremonies are part of the 46 taking place across the province
between March and June in which approximately 9,000 Ontario volunteers are
being recognized by the Ontario government.
    Khalil Ramal, Parliamentary Assistant to Ontario Minister of Citizenship
and Immigration will bring greetings at the June 11 ceremony.
    Local MPPs are invited to attend the ceremony and to bring greetings.

    
    Date:     Thursday June 11 and Friday June 12

    Location: Tudor Hall
              3750 Bowesville Road (near Riverside & Uplands)
              Ottawa, ON

    Time:     Ceremony   7:30 pm

              Reception  8:30 p.m.

    Photo opportunities are available before, during and after the ceremony.
Reception start time is approximate.
