President, Rhonda Kimberley-Young delivers the state of the union address
to 600 delegates, alternates and guests from across Ontario at
9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 10
TORONTO, March 5 /CNW/ - Six hundred delegates, alternates and guests
from all parts of the province will attend this year's Annual Meeting of the
Provincial Assembly of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation
President, Rhonda Kimberley-Young will deliver her last report as
president of OSSTF at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and will be available for interviews
immediately after her address.
During the annual meeting, Kathleen Wynne, Minister of Education and
Maude Barlow, National Chairperson of the Council of Canadians will address

Saturday, March 10
0930 President Rhonda Kimberley-Young will deliver the state of the
Sunday, March 11
1115 Maude Barlow, National Chairperson of the Council of Canadians
will address the delegates.
Monday, March 12
1100 Honourable Kathleen Wynne, Minister of Education will address
the delegates followed by a question and answer period.
1130 Presentation of the Marion Drysdale Awards. This moving
ceremony honours students from across the province.
OSSTF/FEESO, founded in 1919, has 60,000 members across Ontario. They
include public high school teachers, occasional teachers, education
assistants, continuing education teachers and instructors, psychologists,
secretaries, speech-language pathologists, social workers, plant support
personnel, attendance counsellors, and many others in education.
