Media Advisory - Ontario Power Generation's Seymour facility celebrates 100 years

    WHAT:    Ontario Power Generation Chief Executive Officer Tom Mitchell,
             along with Executive Vice President Hydro John Murphy, will join
             OPG staff and members of the community to celebrate the 100th
             anniversary of the Seymour Generating Station located in
             Campbellford.

    WHERE:   OPG Service Centre
             8 Trent Drive, Campbellford

    WHEN:    Saturday September 12, 2009 from 10 am to 3pm
    

    NOTE TO MEDIA, PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: Mr. Mitchell and Mr. Murphy will take
part in a special plaque unveiling ceremony to commemorate 100 years of
hydroelectric generation at the Seymour Generating Station to take place at
the Service Centre site at 1pm sharp. A commemorative cake will also be cut
shortly after the plaque unveiling ceremony.
    Also note that limited parking for members of the media will be available
onsite at 8 Trent Drive.

    DIRECTIONS:

    FROM 401 EASTBOUND: Take Highway 401 Westbound, taking exit 509 toward
Brighton/Campbellford. Follow Provincial Route 30 North for approximately 25
km and following the "Seymour 100" signs to the event
    FROM 401 WESTBOUND: Take Highway 401 Eastbound and follow directions as
listed above.
