New national poll also to be released: highlights Canadians' views on
corporate social responsibility and roles for people with disabilities in
the changing economy
TORONTO, Oct. 15 /CNW/ - The Honourable Madeleine Meilleur, Ontario's
Minister of Community and Social Services, will address Ontario's top
employers at a conference hosted by the Job Opportunity Information Network
(JOIN) - an employment network for people with disabilities.
At the same time, JOIN will release a new national poll that measures
Canadian's views on people with disabilities, their role in the changing
economy and Canadians' expectations of corporate Canada.
The day-long conference, The Value of Accessibility: the Bottom Line,
will help educate employers on how to work with the disability community, and
on how to better employ and retain persons with disabilities.
