Media advisory - Nova Scotia employers visit GTA to bring back their own



    HALIFAX, Nov. 5 /CNW/ -

    
    What:  Some of Nova Scotia's largest employers will be in Toronto and
           Mississauga on November 5 and 6 to recruit former Nova Scotians
           and other job-seekers for positions back home.

           Employers will showcase available positions and establish and
           maintain connections with potential employees. There are hundreds
           of Nova Scotia jobs posted at www.opportunitiesns.ca.

    Who:   Employers taking part in Opportunities Nova Scotia include Halifax
           Regional Municipality, Maritime Forces Atlantic, EastLink, Dexter
           Construction, Irving Shipbuilding Inc., Capital District Health
           Authority and the Public Service Commission.

           These organizations employ about 30,000 Nova Scotians in key
           sectors in all regions of the province.
