MONTREAL, Sept. 4 /CNW Telbec/ - Gérald Tremblay, Mayor of the city of
Montréal, Helen Fotopulos, Executive Committee member responsible for Mount
Royal, nature parks and large parks, the Nature Museums and the status of
women, and Charles-Mathieu Brunelle, Director of Montréal's Nature Museums,
are pleased to invite you to the release of the Nature Museums' 2009-2017
Business Plan/Life Plan. This is your opportunity to learn about five major
projects aimed at rethinking the bonds between humankind and nature and
cultivating a new way of living.
This will also be your chance to see the sketches of the future Rio Tinto
Alcan Planetarium. The winning concept was submitted as part of an
architectural competition of international scope, launched last fall by the
city of Montréal. The project, by Cardin Ramirez Julien, was recommended by a
selection jury, out of 62 submissions.
