Media Advisory - Minister Kenney to meet Bhutanese refugees



    SHERBROOKE, QC, Aug. 28 /CNW Telbec/ - The Honourable Jason Kenney,
Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, will meet with
Bhutanese refugees at the Service d'aide aux Néo-Canadiens.
    The Bhutanese refugees, of ethnic Nepalese descent, have been living in
seven camps in Eastern Nepal since the early 1990s.
    Canada has welcomed 990 Bhutanese refugees since 2008, most of which are
government-assisted refugees.
