1. The Order of St. John(*) Honours War Veterans at National War

Ceremony to honour volunteers who served overseas during World Wars I and
II, as well as the Korean War. This ceremony will also serve to remind
Canadians that even today, many men and women, who are serving in areas of
conflict as members of the Canadian Forces, received their first aid training
from St. John Ambulance.

Wellington and Elgin Streets, Ottawa, by 10:30 am, Saturday June 23.

2. Investiture Ceremony on Parliament Hill Honours 38 Outstanding
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Ceremony to honour special volunteers to be held in the Senate.
Individuals will be admitted to or promoted in Order of St. John in
recognition of their exceptional contributions and commitment to Canada. Lord
Prior of the Order, LCol. Eric Barry will preside over the June 23 ceremony.
