Ritz-Carlton's transformation is fast approaching. To celebrate its proud
heritage and strengthen its ties with the Montreal community, the hotel will
auction off more than 500 lots that attest to the storied past of the "Grande
Dame" of Sherbrooke Street. The Ritz-Carlton Montreal invites journalists to
take part in activities related to the public auctions. The auctioneer will be
Iégor de Saint-Hippolyte from Hôtel des Encans.
In summer 2009, once renovations have been completed, the Ritz-Carlton
Montreal will comprise 130 rooms and luxury suites, as well as
35 condo-residences and 15 condo-suites. It will be part of the international
network of Ritz-Carlton Residences(R)".
