Media advisory - Mayor David Miller will make keynote address at 2007 CUPE National Convention



    TORONTO, Oct. 12 /CNW Telbec/ - In one of his first speeches since the
provincial election, Toronto Mayor David Miller will address over
2,000 delegates to the 2007 CUPE National Convention.
    Miller is expected to discuss the problems of under-funding for
municipalities across country, particularly in light The Federation of
Canadian Municipalities stated concern of the growing infrastructure gap -
hovering at around $60 billion.
    Other issues he may address are social services, education and health
care.
