The concept of the Canadian Cancer Society's Paws for Hope walk-a-thon
is very simple, but very entertaining and original :
dogs and masters will walk 2 to 5 kilometres in exchange
for donations on behalf of the fight against cancer.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Provincial Spokesperson for the event and showbiz columnist,
Michel Girouard accompanied by his dogs Cachou and Sacha,
will be on site and give interviews to the media.

Cameramen and photographers are invited to shoot images
                           and photos at the site:
the walk will be followed by a picnic, with on-site animation:
                           a dog's fashion show and
other activities such as information stands on
                         healthy lifestyles for dogs,
as well as training and grooming tips.

In 2007, 6 Canadian Cancer Society Paws for Hope walk-a-thons
will take place at various Quebec locations.
Ormstown's event was held last week,
Laval's walk will take place this Sunday. Sept. 16th,
and 4 last walk-a-thons are scheduled on Sunday, Sept. 23rd :
