HALIFAX, June 21 /CNW/ - An unusual fashion show, mystifying magic and a
crash course on how to avoid driver distractions. It's all part of the line up
for the launch of the Be Smart. Be Safe. Summer Tour. And the best news is
that this entertaining and engaging program, which is designed to prevent
injuries and save lives, will travel to more than 30 communities throughout
Nova Scotia this summer.

- Canada's home, car and business insurers will announce the details of
an innovative injury prevention partnership.
- The D.U.M.B. Car (Distractions Undermining Motorist Behaviour), a
simulator that allows people to test their driving ability while
talking on a cellphone or engaged in other common distractions.
- Special appearance by "Dr. Izonroad" as he uses levitation and other
mind-bending magic to dramatically demonstrate that driving while
distracted is dangerous.
- Life Jacket Fashion Show. Every member of the family, even the dog,
will learn what to wear and how to wear it to stay safe in and on the
water this summer.
Be Smart. Be Safe. is a nationwide outreach program from Canada's home,
