Media Advisory - Lincoln Alexander Award ceremony details announced



    TORONTO, Dec. 7 /CNW/ - The Lincoln M. Alexander Awards for Leadership in
Eliminating Racial Discrimination will be presented to three outstanding young
Ontarians. The Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will
host the ceremony and present the awards, which will be attended by the
Honourable Michael Chan, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration.
    The three recipients being recognized are Anam Ahmed (17) of Brantford,
Kwesi Johnson (22) of Scarborough and Yalda Pashai-Fakhri (19) of Toronto.
    A news release with information on the award winners who will be
recognized was sent out earlier this week. It can be viewed online at
