Media Advisory - Lieutenant Governor to mark the International Day of Disabled Persons

TORONTO, Nov. 30 /CNW/ - The Hon. David C. Onley will mark the
International Day of Disabled Persons on Monday 3 December with several events
in the Greater Toronto Area.

    His Honour noted:
"Today is a special day to draw attention to the issue of
accessibility. In my installation speech just under three months ago,
I defined accessibility as that which enables people to reach their
full potential. Without full accessibility, people living with
disabilities cannot achieve their full potential, cannot be included
in the economic and social life of the province."

His Honour will participate in the following events:

                 Disabilities Celebration
