    VANCOUVER, Jan. 20 /CNW/ - The Canadian Olympic Committee will unveil its
2009 inductees to the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame in a special press
conference in Vancouver this Thursday, January 22.
    For more than 50 years, the Hall of Fame has recognized Canadians who
have served the cause of the Olympic Movement with distinction. This year it
welcomes a tremendous group of sport legends who have made their mark in
figure skating, ice hockey, swimming and speed skating.
    The press conference is held in advance of the actual Hall of Fame Gala &
Induction Ceremony, also held in Vancouver on March 26.
