    OTTAWA, March 13 /CNW Telbec/ - The Conference Board estimates that the
economic footprint of the culture sector is valued at about $84.6 billion (in
2007), or 7.4 per cent of Canada's total real GDP, and contributes 1.1 million
jobs to the economy.
    The International Forum on the Creative Economy will present new research
and case studies from around the world about the way arts and cultural
industries impact the economy.
