Media advisory - Information picket line about the negotiations between the PSAC/NEU and the Government of Nunavut



    OTTAWA, Dec. 3 /CNW Telbec/ - Iqaluit- After completing four sessions of
negotiations with the Government of Nunavut, the Nunavut Employees Union, a
PSAC component, is still waiting for offers that would lead to a fair and just
collective agreement. Among other issues, the government must present a new
compensation package for the nurses if Nunavut is to avoid a nursing crisis.
    Along with their supporters, the NEU members will gather in front of the
new hospital on Ring Road at noon on Monday, December 3 to inform the public
about their negotiations with the Government of Nunavut.
