Media Advisory - Hydro One grants $10,000 to the Brampton YMCA, as part of Hydro One's PowerPlay Program



    TORONTO, Jan. 13 /CNW/ - Journalists are invited to attend a special
cheque presentation to the Brampton YMCA on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, as
Hydro One Brampton President Roger Albert presents YMCA Advisory Council Chair
Bob Kaye with Hydro One's donation to the YMCA's aquatic program.
    Hydro One has made a $10,000 PowerPlay grant to the Brampton YMCA to
purchase an Aquatic Lift for the centre's swimming pool, in order to enhance
accessibility for aquatic program participants.
    Following a tour of the new facilities, there will be a cheque
presentation and brief remarks by Mr. Kaye and by Mr. Albert. Interviews can
be arranged in advance of the event, and on site. YMCA staff will also be on
hand to answer journalist's questions.
    The PowerPlay Program benefits children's outdoor and active play
facilities in Ontario communities served by Hydro One.
