OTTAWA, Oct. 8 /CNW Telbec/ - The Co-operative Housing Federation will
join provincial and territorial housing ministers, the Federation of Canadian
Municipalities and other national housing organizations to plan strategies to
deal with Canada's core housing need. They will call on the new federal
government to join in the plan following the October 14 federal election.
Nicholas Gazzard, executive director, will present CHF Canada's proposals
to respond to the housing crisis.
WHEN: Oct. 8, 2008, 10:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (all times Eastern).
WHERE: The Multi-Purpose Room at the Foster Farm Community Centre,
1065 Ramsey Crescent, Ottawa.
Mr. Gazzard will be available for media interviews prior to the meeting
