Media Advisory - Health within Official Languages Minority Communities



    OTTAWA, June 6 /CNW Telbec/ - The media is invited to attend the Canadian
Institutes of Health Research's (CIHR) 1st Summer Institute on Health within
Official Languages Minority Communities.
    The Institute will offer workshops to 30 young investigators who will
focus on the specific health needs of Canada's two linguistic communities.
Researchers will discuss issues such as the health disparities among
Anglophones and Francophones, as well as the health research within these
communities. The major partners of the event are the Canadian Institutes of
Health Research, the University of Ottawa and the Consortium national de
formation en santé.
