Media Advisory - Has the Long Term Care 'Revolution' Come To An End? Or Will the Provincial Budget Deliver On Its Promise?



    TORONTO, March 20 /CNW/ - Long term care homes in Ontario will be looking
for some $500 million in new money in Tuesday's provincial budget.
    That's the amount needed to move toward an acceptable and adequate level
of care for residents in Ontario's long term care homes.
    Donna Rubin, Chief Executive Officer of the Ontario Association of
Non-Profit Homes and Services for Seniors, will be available at the
Legislative Building for media interviews immediately following the release of
the budget.
