Media Advisory - Governor Schwarzenegger's Environmental Advisor to Speak in Vancouver



    VANCOUVER, April 3 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, April 4th, 2007, from 7:00 -
9:00 pm, at the Vancouver Museum, Tides Canada Foundation welcomes Terry
Tamminen (www.terrytamminen.com) for a reading and discussion on his book,
'Lives Per Gallon: The True Cost of Our Oil Addiction'.
    Terry Tamminen is California Governor Schwarzenegger's environmental
advisor and the former head of the California EPA. He is now assisting BC.
    Terry's new book, "Lives Per Gallon: The True Cost of Our Oil Addiction"
is an excellent read that offers a first hand, passionate, fact-packed
overview of the undeniable evidence against Big Oil while calling for new
energy policies to shift away from fossil fuel dependency and promote
conservation.
