Media Advisory - Government of Canada celebrates historical significance of Stanley Thompson



    INGONISH BEACH, NS, June 26 /CNW/ - The Honourable Michael L. MacDonald
will unveil a Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada plaque
commemorating the national historic significance of Stanley Thompson, golf
course architect.
    Senator MacDonald will unveil the plaque on behalf of Canada's
Environment Minister and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, the Honourable
Jim Prentice.
