Media Advisory - Government of Canada celebrates historical significance of construction of Canso Causeway



    PORT HASTINGS, NS, May 21 /CNW/ - The Honourable Michael L. MacDonald,
Senator, will unveil a Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada plaque
commemorating the national historic significance of the building of the Canso
Causeway.
    Senator MacDonald will unveil the plaque on behalf of Canada's
Environment Minister and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, the Honourable
Jim Prentice.
