Media Advisory - Fraser Institute to release annual report card rating Alberta elementary schools



    CALGARY, March 9 /CNW/ - The Fraser Institute will release its Report
Card on Alberta's Elementary Schools: 2007 Edition on Sunday, March 11 at
6:00 am (Mountain).
    This annual report is the only publication of its kind to analyze
relevant, publicly available data to rate and rank 705 of Alberta's public,
private, separate, and charter elementary schools.
    A news release with additional information will be issued via CNW on
Sunday, March 11.
    The full text of the Report Card including detailed results for all the
schools will be available for download as PDFs on our web site at
www.fraserinstitute.ca.
    Peter Cowley, Director of School Performance Studies for The Fraser
Institute and author of the report card will be in Calgary and available to
provide comment to the media on Sunday, March 11 and Monday, March 12.
    There will be special coverage of the Report Card's rankings and
individual school results in weekend editions of the Calgary Herald and
Edmonton Sun newspapers.
