Media Advisory - First Canadian Social Entrepreneurship Summit brings together some of the world's leading change makers

    - Over 250 business, academic and social thought leaders gather to
address innovative solutions to the most pressing issues of our time -

    TORONTO, Nov. 29 /CNW/ -

What: Next Tuesday, a one-day Summit will build on the momentum of
the Canadian social entrepreneurship movement. As well as
workshops and panel discussions on topics of direct relevance
to social entrepreneurs, the Summit will give members of this
exceptional, but often under-recognized community, a chance to
meet with one another, share experiences and extend their
networks with other leaders and entrepreneurs.

A social entrepreneur works to catalyze systemic social change
through new ideas, products, services, methodologies and
              changes in attitude.

In parallel with the Summit, Canada will join 26 other
countries in awarding the prestigious Schwab Foundation 'Social
              Entrepreneur of the Year Award'.
