MEDIA ADVISORY - Expansion of the Ubuntu Village Program for Older Adults/ Seniors in Three Communities in Scarborough

WHAT -         

On Friday December 2nd 2016 at 12 pm Honorable Mitzie Hunter, MPP Scarborough Guidlwood & Minster of Education, and Honorable Raymond Cho, MPP Scarborough Rouge River will be at TAIBU Community Health to announce the expansion of the successful Ubuntu Village Program for Older Adults/Seniors in three new neighborhoods in Scarborough thanks to the generous financial contribution from Ontario Trillium Foundation




Honorable Mitzie Hunter will formally present TAIBU CHC with a plaque to mark the expansion of the program in Scarborough.




Agnes Browne, the Chair of the Ubuntu Elder Council and Liben Gebremikael, Executive Director of TAIBU CHC will talk about the success of Ubuntu in Malvern and St Paul's L'Amoreaux neighborhoods
